"Why does Born This Way face censorship in some places?"

Piece 7

Lady Gaga’s Born This Way is an anthem of self-acceptance and LGBTQ+

empowerment. However, it faced censorship or backlash in certain regions

where LGBTQ+ rights were less accepted or even criminalized. The song

promotes freedom of sexual identity, which some found was threatening to

traditional social values. Is censorship justified when it conflicts with a minority

group’s rights to freedom of expression, or does it reflect deeper cultural prejudices?
