"Why do political artworks like Guernica face censorship?"

Piece 3

Picasso’s Guernica was a reaction to the bombing of the Basque town of Guernica

during the Spanish Civil War. The painting is a powerful condemnation of the horrors

of war, and its abstract style made it a controversial symbol of political protest. In

some cases, it was censored or restricted due to its anti-war message and its political

stance against fascism. Can art influence political change, and should that be restricted?
